Fabricated from virgin recycled materials. Absorbs more, is “green”, yet cost about the same, or less, than traditional meltblown socks it replaces. Fast-wicking fibers are ideal for surrounding and absorbing oil and other hydrocarbon spills and discharges, preventing them from spreading. Flexibly fits snugly around the base of machinery and equipment exposed to water or rain to capture persistent oily leaks and seepage. It absorbs the oily substances but repels water. No messy cleanup—simply dispose the used socks and replace with fresh ones. Excellent for hazardous and non-hazardous liquids, including food oils, fuel, solvents, and oil-based paint and chemicals.
